"Interfaith Hospitality Network" is now "Family Promise"
Our congregation serves with churches and synagogues from Las Vegas to provide help to homeless families. Three weeks each year, we become the hosts for three or four families, providing supper, lodging, and food for breakfast and lunch. The adults spend the days working or looking for work, while their children attend school. We try to help them rebuild a life for their families and give them a taste of God's love. We are temporarily on hold as a host site, until we can get an issue with the fire department cleared up. Call the church office to sign up to help--363-2515. |
