| ![]() Our mission trips have taken us in the past to Baja California, Mexico, to build houses for families in need. During the summer of 2009 a group of 20 will team up with New Promise, St. George, Utah, and travel to Rock Point, AZ, to do building and repair work at the Navajo Lutheran Mission. The Navajo Mission Trip is a great outreach. The crew of twenty from our congregation commits to this mission a week of their own vacation time and money to build homes for impoverished families. Our congregation is providing all kinds of support, including money, tools, food, encouragement, and best of all, prayer. Contact Amy Potts for more information and to sign up to become one of the twenty. Pray for the mission that all will continue in good health and be uplifted by the work, and the receiving families will be blessed by our gift of a new home.
We traveled to Mexico for six days to build a home for a family
living in sub-standard housing. Each family has a stable income and has
purchased land from the government, but now needs help getting a house. Through
the church in their community Contact the office (702) 363-2515 or email Vicki with your offer to help.
